AMLO Raffles Off His Momentum Atlas Watch in Emotional Farewell, Won by Journalist Julio Omar Gómez
At his final press conference before stepping down, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) made headlines by raffling off his personal Momentum Atlas 38 watch to a lucky journalist in attendance. The winner, Julio Omar Gómez, was soon approached by buyers offering up to 1 million Pesos (US $50,000) for the watch, but he turned down all offers, citing its immense sentimental value.
