CanadaVERY sturdy EDC in heavy industry tradeswork
This was my very first foray into the world of automatic watches and so far I am veey impressed. The Fieldwalker with Goma Rubber is lightweight and comfortable on the wrist. Time keeping is right on the money, gaining approx 5 sec over the course of the day. This watch is part of my everyday carry, keeping time whether I’m drumming, working on the car or rebuilding heavy machinery in the field. This time piece has seen hotwork, wrenching in tight spaces and most interestingly plenty of proximity to large hp motors and 600v transformers. I’m happy to report that I’ve not been able to detect any magnetism in the movement and time keeping has remained consistent within reported tolerance. Momentum markets the Fieldwalker as durable and sturdy and I can attest that it is living up to that promise with little more than a scratch beside a lug. Hope to wear this for many years and someday pass on a watch with lots of stories. Cheers.
Excellent - Well-built, keeps time well, great legibility
My review title summarizes it for me. The watch is well-built, feels very rugged, and looks great. The automatic movement runs well, keeping time about + a few seconds per day. And it is incredibly easy to read, day or night. Very good luminosity. An excellent buy.
