Before starting Momentum, our founder Simon, and his family owned a watch company called Chronosport. In 1977, they launched one of the first-ever analog quartz diver’s watches, the Sea Quartz 30. The brand became so popular that it was soon sold in almost every serious dive store in the US and Canada. This watch was also famously worn by Tom Selleck in the first 3 seasons of the hit show Magnum PI.

For many brands, quartz dive watches are an afterthought. We are proud of our quartz watches and believe they belong in every watch enthusiast’s collection.

The original 1980s Chronosport UDT was famously worn by many special-operations military groups around the world, along with celebrities like Sylvester Stallone in Rambo III. The original Sea Quartz 30 was also famously worn by Tom Selleck in Magnum PI.

With solar watches, we also provide a 6-year warranty out the box, no 2-year service intervals required. The solar movement charges in any light, allowing the Eclipse to run for up to 6 months in pitch darkness.
