Reliable Automatic Movement
The deluxe gilt version of the 9015 movement is made in Japan and is one of Miyota’s Premium automatic range, with 42-hour power reserve, 28800 BPH and 24 jewels. This beautiful, slim movement combines form and function, with outstanding reliability, automatic and manual winding, a quick-set date and hacking. Wrap it up in a subtly rounded and shaped steel case with a presentation back and you have the new Aquamatic IV: a refined dive watch that isn’t afraid to be put through its paces.
Tested to 200m, the Aquamatic IV features a screw-down crown for worry-free aquatic use. The uni-directional bezel is also a useful tool for divers to time decompression stops during ascents at the end of a dive.
I’ve been wearing my Aquamatic IV for a month and love everything about it. Not only is it a beautiful watch but the quality is apparent. Looks and wears great on the bracelet and also a Momentum black web strap. I’ve received many compliments from strangers.
Absolute Best Value for Money
I absolutely can’t recommend this product enough. Momentum does an amazing job at using quality materials, sourcing awesome movements, and they have impeccable customer service. This watch feels weighty (in a good quality build way), has a beautiful exhibition case-back, and the lume is some of the best I’ve ever seen. The Momentum Aquamatic IV punches WELL above its’ weight class, and I am more than happy to support a great Canadian company. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a quality dive watch under $1,000.00.
This is a well made, solid watch, that punches above its price point. The value proposition given materials used vs price is hard to beat. I do have a question however, what was the blue paint like substance on the end of the crown? I was thinking it was intentional however the blue substance came off with no resistance at all, I used my finger and rubbed it off. I should mention the band is awesome as well, very good quality. Thanks Momentum. Seriously though, what’s the blue stuff?
Hi Caleb, Thank you for the kind words and for the question! The blue stuff is just a protective plastic/coating on the crown so it does not get scratched during assembly.
Love the watch
Great watch. Looks super and the water resistance is completely trustworthy. A bit heavier than expected, and can run slightly fast at times.
