A Serious Dive Tool
200M of water-resistance, ultra legible dial and matte 316L stainless steel case make this a serious dive tool in a comfortable 38mm that you can wear all day long.
The M-Ocean is a mid-size 38mm model that is perfect for women who want a bolder, more legible watch, or men who want a compact, more traditional size dive watch.
Outstanding in every respect
I have to say that purchasing the M-Ocean from Momentum watches has to be one of the best experiences I've had with a retailer in a long time. Initially I was looking at the Steelix Eclipse Solar but at 44mm was concerned that it would be too large for my 6.25in (16cm) wrist. I submitted a question via the online form and received a response within less than 12 hours. Not only was my question answered but they also took the trouble to photograph the watch on a colleague with a similar wrist size to demonstrate how it would look in real life. Now that's customer service! From that it was clear that I needed to look for something smaller which is when I found the M-Ocean. I placed my order and I received the watch 3 days later! That's 3 days from Canada to the UK. Amazing! The watch itself is faultless and fits my skinny wrist perfectly. The build quality is excellent and it has only lost a second in 2 weeks. Like I said, faultless. I bought the white dial version and if I had one criticism it would be that the full dial lume isn't particularly bright or long lasting. For me however, that's not a deal breaker and in comparison with all of the other positive attributes of this watch (did I say it looks and wears beautifully?), it's a very minor, personal gripe. A special mention to Pascal Pennell who helped throughout the entire purchasing process and was always quick to answer any questions I had. Thanks again Pascal. Seriously, if you're reading this review and wondering whether or not you should buy the M-Ocean (or any of Momentum's watches for that matter), don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed and you'll be blown away by the customer service.
Great marine construction watch.
I just bought a M Ocean from your shop and I couldn’t my be happier with it. The feel, strength and look is perfect. I work in marine construction and time and reliance on accurate time is crucial. I use the bezel daily to time work. The only thing possibly better than the watch was the staff at your shop. I’m not sure but you may be the last watch store in Vancouver and the guys that helped me pick the watch were awesome. I grew up in Fairview Slopes so it was a bonus to find such a great shop in my hood. You should have a photo section. I’d send you some pics of my new M Ocean on the derricks. -Marcus
Top Tier Field/Dive Watch
I bought this dive watch in May 2019 for my field work in the marine industry. Waterproof, with the sapphire crystal glass and slim 38mm case the watch has never failed me, it is reliable, rugged, yet elegant and in addition to trusting it in the field, I wear it for everyday use because the M-Ocean is multifaceted!
Dear Gibson, Thank you so much for the kind words, and we're thrilled you're enjoying your M-Ocean :) All the best, Team Momentum
An old friend
Just received my M-Ocean. It is anupdated version of the M1 which was a trusted watch of mine for years. Love the flieger dial. The size of this watch is spot on. I think there is a trend forwards more traditional sizes. The second hand on This example hits the indices very well. A big gripe of mine is a quartz watch that has a second-hand that misses the indices on the dial. The sapphire crystal is at coated and the fit and finish are very good. Most of all, I know this watch will be tough as nails and the customer service at St. Moritz is top notch.
Great watch but
I’m still going to give it 5 stars because the watch is great. My issue is the ribber strap is way too short for a wet suit. I am not a big person. That’s why I picked the smaller watch. I have to use the next to the last hole on the strap. There’s no way I could strap it on over the thinnest wetsuit. And the details say it uses a 20 mm band. I’m glad I measured it at 18 mm (same as the splash) before I ordered a longer band.
Thanks for your input. The M-Ocean is available on the shorter length TWIST rubber strap, and also on the longer HYPER rubber strap. While the lug width is 18mm, our natural rubber straps are quite soft and stretchy, so we normally fit a slightly oversize 20mm strap on the watch: this prevents it shifting or sliding from side to side, so makes it extra secure. Sorry if the band you received was too short... and thanks for the positive review!
