It's a Great Watch - Buy One
I am a land surveyor and do a lot of fieldwork. Like construction sites, farms, houses, etc. Watches take a real beating under those conditions and I have found that they rarely last more than a couple of years before they start looking really rough. I have had the all titanium model with a sapphire crystal for about 10 years. It has a few very faint wear marks on the metal, but otherwise it looks like new. The crystal is perfect. I also have an Omega and a Tudor, but this is my go to watch. It looks great and you never have to worry about it. Nicely done Momentum!!
Lightweight field watch
I saw a Korea Youtuber reviewing this watch and found out its from Vancouver. Staying in Ubc was one of my most precious memories and got more into this product. The CS was mega, watch came to me very very fast. Legitimate price, nice Cordura Nylon band. Its already my daily watch. I will someday buy another one for my future GF(hopefully).
I've owned this watch for almost 2 months, and it's great. It does everything I need to... except the lume doesn't last that long. Its bright for like 10-15 minutes, but after that the lume fades quickly. I even charge the lume with a 1200 w flashlight for sometimes 30 mins. And the lume still doesn't last that long. And the second hand only lines up with the minute markers between 50 and 60 second mark. But other than that, I can't complain for the price. It does what I need it to do and I do like that the date window is white. But because of the lume issue. I bought a watch with tritium. None the less. This watch is the perfect size for my wrist and very legible. The screw down crown and 100m water resistance is a plus so I can shower and swim and not have to worry about the watch at all. I rarely take it off and that to change straps, or to change watches. Other than that it stays on my wrist.
A Tremendous Field Watch
I did research on field watches for the better part of a week and the Momentum Atlas 38mm came out on top for the list of features I was interested in. I have a 6.75" wrist, so the 38mm case looks perfect on my wrist. The black face shows even better in person than the website photos and I really like the dial face design, plus how easy it is to read time. I ordered the watch with a sapphire crystal, the black Goma rubber strap and a black Cordura strap. The matte finish case and buckle make the watch non-glare and will work well for deer, turkey and waterfowl hunting. I also fly fish for trout and lake fish for walleyes & pike, so the screw down crown and high water resistance rating were important to me since the watch will be around and in water. The Atlas 38mm is keeping time incredibly well; I set the watch to NIST Official U.S. Time (www.time.gov) three weeks ago and it is still within one second of the atomic clock. Finally, my wife saw my new watch and liked it so well that I ordered an Atlas 32mm for her. She is thrilled with her watch as well.
Wonderful quartz watch that belongs outside
Heading outside to build a fence or chop wood? Put away your automatic watch and strap this little guy on your wrist. This is a great watch that can take a beating on your wrist without you even knowing it's there. The Ti case material makes this watch extremely light weight and the small lug-to-lug dimension will make it hug and love your wrist. The readability is impressive and the added sapphire crystal option with AR coating steps it up a notch. I wish the lume was brighter (thicker?), but the large surface area of lumed numerals and indices somewhat compensates for this flaw. Overall, this is a wonderful watch for the price. It's surprisingly hard to find a good 38-mm quartz "tough watch" out there. Stop looking…you've found it.
