The Dive Watch Used By Professionals
The M50 has 500M of water-resistance (yes, you read that right) and is used by various military and ERTs across North America. The M50 is made from 316L stainless steel case in matte finish and comes standard with sapphire crystal.
High-contrast, luminous dials and large, clear numbers offer exceptional legibility, day or night. Read the time at a glance, without glasses.
I have many watches 10x the price of the M50 and they don't come close to hitting all the marks that this watch does! All for under $400, whaaat! Great looking and everyday practical my white dial M50 looks great with a suit or a pair of jeans. The full Lume Dial is awesome and last for hours. 4 o'clock Crown is placed perfectly and solidly constructed. Being Canadian, I knew the Momentum would be built to last and using top shelf materials that far exceeds the asking price. It did not disappoint. My only regret is that I didn't find Momentum sooner. I spent a lot of money on other watches that don't compare to the M50. Will not be my last Momentum and look forward more to add to my collection. Get it to the popular YouTube reviewers, Momentum needs to be seen and heard so the Watch World sees what Canadian Tough means. Continued Success to Momentum.
I've had this watch for about a month. So far, very impressed. I work with individuals who wear watches costing 10x-30x as much who've all been very impressed with the fit and finish. Time will tell....
Thanks Wayne. We appreciate your business and hope your M50 will serve you well, for many years to come!
Divers mainly use computers these days but as an Instructor I sometimes need a second hand to time students undertaking underwater skills. So I needed a tough practical dive watch that wouldn't flood and didn't cost the earth. I have been very pleased indeed and dived it to 30m so far. The watch looks great, the big dial is easy to read especially at night and in dim low visibility and comes with a thick but soft rubber strap that fits over my wrist, as well as over a dry suit cuff. You can point out minor niggles such as the cyclops on mine not being absolutely placed at 90 degrees, so it's not made like a Rolex but I could buy 28 of these for the price of a Deep Sea. So this watch is going to have a tough life but so far it's been faultless. It comes with a guarantee that can be extended by 2 yearly servicing.
I think the colorful term beginning with the letters B and A aptly describe this watch. The watch is a solid chunk of black coated stainless steel with sapphire crystal and great lume. Second Momentum watch I have owned. This one is tougher than the first, which I bought for its toughness. I’ve seen it described as a tank of a watch. I agree. Chuck would be proud.
I have owned the M50 DSS watch by St. Moritz for the past 5 years. During that time, it has been nothing short of a pleasure to wear. It's solid 316L stainless steel brushed case has taken a beating but has only very small dings to show for it. The sapphire crystal is still perfect and unscratched. The quartz movement is as accurate as ever. I only recently had to change the "10 year" battery--I could not find it locally and had to order one off Amazon. The bezel is very functional and clicks with ease. I have received quite a few compliments and even a co-worker went out and ordered one for himself days after I showed him the watch. All that said, the only thing I found lacking in the watch was the shiny hour markers. It was just too flashy for me and seemed out of place. I also would prefer the side grooves on the bezel all the way around like classic dive watches. When I saw that St Moritz came out with an M50 Mark II with classic military-style dial and numbered hours, I was drooling. After a few days of consideration, I had to order one and couldn't be happier. This is a very handsome watch! I love looking at and admiring the beautiful new dial. It is still the same great watch, but with an improved makeover. Gotta love that. I have it on a ballistic nylon NATO strap that has 316L buckle/rings--the perfect marriage.
